Learn the basics and more for this beautiful style of dance. This class focuses on the artistic and dynamic aspects of the sensuous Rumba and the energetic Cha Cha. No dance experience required—beginners welcome! We’ll mix it up—learning both with and without partners. Learning how to dance on your own feet is a key part of the artistry and expression of this intricate style. We’ll use something called—embodied anatomy—a tool that can help you learn other dance or physical activities. $10 per class when you sign up ahead. Come learn the basics of Salsa dance, Latin rhythms, and how to dance with your own flair using a Mind-Body approach. Class is perfect for beginners, or those who want a refresher. You will learn a little about salsa dance styles and music from all over the world. For those interested, the instructor will arrange salsa-dancing outings as a group. Strictly Swing is dedicated to investing in a community of people who share a passion for vintage swing dancing. We are committed to teaching dances from the big band era, hosting monthly dances, and promoting regional vintage swing dance opportunities. We offer progressive swing dance lessons and monthly dances for men and women of all ages.

The Silver Spurs repertoire represents over 40 cultures, including Mexican, Japanese, English, Ukrainian, Filipino, Norwegian, Haitian, and traditional American dances. An open embrace (salon style) class for beginners. The Spokane Folklore Society is a non-profit volunteer organization dedicated to the celebration of Folk Arts, particularly music and dance. Find out what's happening on our calendar. Contra Dancing, a community dance is fun for all ages. Everyone is welcome. You don't have to be experienced—the caller teaches all the moves.
